Despicable Me 3 proves to be Gru-vy at the worldwide box office following a hugely successful opening weekend in multiple territories having taken just under $200million. As one of the most anticipated film releases of 2017, the hit animation has scored the biggest opening day of the franchise in 11 markets, most notably in the UK. With Despicable Me 3 currently beating its previous entries and still yet to open in key countries such as China, will the film get anywhere near the success of the Minions movie? It’s hard to think so but it’s not out of the question!
Accompanying the recent release of Despicable Me 3 is the new collection of licensed fashion accessories which go on sale at the end of July. The range consists of sleep masks, accessory sets, goggles plus much more - perfect for Minions fans who want to look and feel like their favourite characters from the new movie. Other exciting products include Thinkway Toys’ high-quality range of action figures, plush and collectables along with Topps’ Sticker and Trading Card Collections.
In other news, another highly anticipated animated movie drives into UK cinemas on July 14th with Lightning McQueen and the much-loved Cars gang. Cars 3 is supported by a huge range of licensed products which include Topps and Panini’s Trading Card and Sticker Collections, Mattel’s line-up of die-cast toys and playsets, Eolo's flying toys and Worlds Aparts selection of GoGlows, Ready Beds and Play tents, all of which are perfect for indoor and outdoor adventures in the Summer months.
